Hi Jim, We just got a 2018 170S and also love it. I have a Dodge 1500 crew cab with the factory class IV hitch. I have towed it probably 300 miles on back roads and interstate. I just use a plain ball mount with a 2" drop. No WD hitch or sway control. It pulled with no problems at all. We had probably 200lbs in the aft part of the bed. The truck squatted some but the trailer was almost level.
I know it is not F150, but the weight capacity should be similar. I'm not sure why you have such a clearance issue. Are you saying the WD ball mount is close to the ground? Maybe post a picture.

It's an adjustable length tube.

No, neither your tv or microwave or any of your 120v outlets will be powered unless you are plugged into 120v shore power or a generator. If you want to supply 120v power from your 12v batttery, you will need to add an inverter. You can buy an adapter to charge your phone via your 12v socket.

I haven't tried it but I wonder if the USB ports will work on the 12 volt system? The radio and its USB port should definitely work on the battery. These would be phone charging options.

Great catch, Ptmarx. I plugged my phone into the USB port on the Jensen system tonight and verified that it will charge your phone.

Is it possible to remove the rather pointless sink from the wet bath?

I removed the sink and had to cut the pc vent and add a connector when I removed the T. I then bought a vinyl floor tile that doesn't quite match and glued it to the wall to cover the hole. I will try to find a better matching tile. I also changed the shower handle because we accidentally hit the lever and got wet a few times.

Not sure if it is operator error, but when attaching the rhino flex to dump it would not lock into place. It leaked at the bayonet fitting to drain valve, did I do something wrong? Looking at the bayonet fitting I do not notice any way to lock it in place.

Not sure what is going on. Should be pretty straightforward.

Just picked up our almost-new Drop on Saturday; pics to follow - very excited, as this is our first adventure in travel trailering.

New here and looking hard at a WD1780. I read on one of the posts that a check list was available to take with you when you go to pick up your new Winnie Drop, anyone know where this is located at ? Sure would be a great help if it does exist.

Has anyone lifted a Winnie Drop. I recently purchased a 2017 WD170S and love the trailer. But, I'm hitting front and rear pretty often. I am in the process of lifting our rig. Thoughts? Comments?
Jim
