We just got home from our first real trip with the Moho and it was the best. No complaints everything worked perfect, zero trouble. Left Minn on the 12th and made a loop down through OK, NM, over to Tucson for a convention and then up through Sedona and the Grand Canyon, and then back home by way of the Raton Pass, Colorado and Nebraska. 3749 miles round trip on 530 gallons of gas, 7.07 mpg. pulling our the wrangler every mile. (only bad part avg price per gallon for 89 octane was $3.17) but worth every dime. And I for one can't wait to go RV'ing again.

Sounds like a great trip. We love to go to NM. Did you stop at Sedona and the Grand Canyon? They have that new glass bridge at the Grand Canyon. It looks scary

Thanks for sharing
Tom

Sounds like a great trip - what was the best part?

Noticed you live in Mn. We do as well -- just west of MPLS (near Rockford). We are hoping to have our house sold. DPMH bought and be on the road full time by Sept or Oct of this year -- the more we read about the good side of MH livin the more anxious we are to be out there. but on the ohter hand the more we read about problems and issues the more we realize it woh't be all a cake walk. you can reach us on our home email == mrmsbb@earthlink.net

It was fun, we spent three day in Sedona and the Grand Canyon, took the jeep on a lot of back roads and trails, the best part though for me anyway was the Pima air force base and musuem in Tucson. Of course the absolute best was the time Gayle and I had together without employees, clients, and kids, love them all, but it was a great two weeks.
I don't know if we will ever be able to full time and have at least 10 yrs before retirement (we are 45} but we sure are going to enjoy taking trips like we just did. The joys of RV'ing will far out wiegh the little hassles life will throw at you.
And we are south of you, just north of Rochester.

Great to hear you had a good first trip. I have to ask though, why are you pumping middle grade (89 octane) gas instead of regular (87 octane) gas?? I have never seen a coach that required higher octane gas (maybe some do exist?), so why in the world would you or anyone spend the extra money?? Just curious.
