Xite Infotainment System - I can't turn off the music!

I have the XSG2NA-X1S Infotainment System by Xite and am about to pull my hair out. How do you turn off the radio or Sirius when they are on. When I am using the Nav feature I want to hear the turn by turn directions but there are times I want to turn off the radio or sirius music playing in the background??? The Nav will mute the music in the background to give you directions but the music is then unmuted once your direction is given. I want to turn off the Sirius or radio that is running in the background.

It is almost seems like once you have an audio source playing, you can't turn off that audio - you can switch from Sirius to radio but you can't turn it off?? The manual doesn't provide any information.

Please help!!!!!

If you press and hold the NAV button for two seconds then release it will mute all audio ( except NAV instructions) until you leave the NAV screen.
