Xpel Paint Protection Film

I have decided that I want to have a paint protection film installed on the front of my Itasca Motorhome but am not sure which one. I have read about 3M and it scares me that so many people have had issues with removing it. 3M offers a 5 yr warranty. Another product I found is the Xpel which offers a 7 yr warranty and is said to be easier on and off.

Has anyone had any experience with Xpel? Or is there other products I might consider? Thank you for any advice.

Golf Nut,
The 3M system has earned a rep, some bad, some good. Ours has been on the coach since new, '04 Itasca Horizon, 36GD. (we are not the original owners) and, it looks outstanding. There are no issues with ours like there has been with many on here. Yep, there's some that have had cracking, fogging, peeling, darkening, and more. In all reality, there are several factors that lead to those issues. Things like, uncovered storage, sunlight exposure consistantly, and more.

And yes, once it's on there, it can be a real pain to get off. As far as warranty, don't count on it, from any company. Unless the stuff, any stuff you choose, goes bad within a year, have fun in trying to collect or get replacement free. As far as the other product you mentioned, I've no knowledge of it's properties or, history.
