Anyone going to Quartzsite, Az. for the Winnebago get together in the desert next year? 3 months away but the cold has me thinking about it.

About a half dozen coaches from the San Juanderers in Washington state are starting to make their way to the area. There to be joined by other club members who are already down here. About two weeks to go now.

Great, maybe we will see you. Last year we were off Plamosa road.

My wife and I are heading over to Quartzsite tomorrow. We are new Forum members and only in our 2nd year of RVing in our Itasca, so are looking forward to meeting some other WIT members. Hopefully we will see you there.

This will be our 2nd time at Quartzsite and our 1st year with our Class A. Does anyone have the gps coordinates so we will all have the same meeting place? We are leaving Escapee's North Ranch for Quartzsite on Sunday.

There was an article in the WIT Club News from the WIT 365 Club. It provides WIT members with the following directions.
Go north from Quartzsite on AZ95 for 5.6 miles to Plomosa Road.
Go east on Plomosa Road for 1.6 miles to BLM Road 811 (N33 45.245, W114 11.418)
Go north on BLM Road 811 about a quarter mile (N33 45.415 W114 11.387) and take the left fork.
The group will be parking in the area of N33 45.488 W114 11.410

I'm currently parked next to the WIT group in Quartsite. Currently there are only a few coaches there..five or six. The directions will get you there, however, I got here by turning left (or north) at an enterence that is about 200 yards beyond (or east) of the 1 mile marker on Palosma road. At the enterence, among the many signs, is a large and very obivious sign (not related to the WIT group) stating "Lorreta and Harry". The group is about 200 yards north and slightly east. THere was a very small WIT sign posted.

Diane and I made it to the WIT group at Quartzsite today. Great bunch of people as usual, about 13 motorhomes and room for more. Point your Winnebago this way!
