2015 View Beeping

Our 2015 View beeps intermittently while driving. It just started. It happens about every ten minutes all day! IT IS NOT doors or seatbelts or e-brake and comes from behind speedo. It SOMETIMES seem related to headwinds and road conditions but not always. The net blogs do not help ie not relevant. Any ideas. OK to email thoughts. THANKS and we are frustrated... beep beep beep 24 times !

Welcome to iRV2.

Sorry you're here with problems .
I'll ask one question , because I'm not familiar with the View model line up.
Were all View's built on the Sprinter chassis ?

Ok, this is an uneducated guess but do your automatic steps have an alarm if they don't retract? If they do, it may be a loose or faulty switch. You can check it by having some one rattle the closed steps while you have the engine running and are in drive (and not moving of course) If it activates the beeping, it should be the sensor/switch on the steps.

Good luck!!

On my Winnebago, when I have my Apple iPhone connected to the Pioneer in-dash receiver, whenever a new email or text message comes in to it, the in-dash receiver makes a little alerting noise, to let you know. It's not a beep, tho. It does this even when the radio is off or muted. One thing to check.
