Just got my booklet for GNR and the registeration says " Section E-Large sites/50 amps/units over 36 ft. Limited # avaliable." When was the size restriction put in? I stayed in the E area last year and had a reserved site in the E area for my 33' coach this year until I changed it to the state row when I became the state president. Guess I do not understand why they would restrict units under 36"?

I think this is the first year. We heard it is to give longer coaches more room. With all the longer ones in the state rows it was getting hard for some people to get out and back in for service. Maybe when the economy gets better they can make more spaces that are bigger and have 50 amp. Jim

Yeah,
I think in one of the recent WITNews issues Doug Formanek, WIT GM, mentioned these reasons in his article regarding changes at the GNR. The main reason for making Section E was for larger rigs to have more parking space.

I like to have 50 amp as much as the folks in the larger coaches. If people can't plan far enough in advance to get a reservation, I shouldn't have to be treated as a second class WIT member. Maybe this will be my last GNR....
