Hello from the NC WIT Rally

I wanted to say hello from Camp Hatteras in Waves, NC. The NC Winnie Tarheels are having their spring rally here on the cape and so far it been very nice here weather wise. It is a bit windy but that's the cape for ya!

I gave a seminar this morning at 11:00 and about a dozen or so members attended. We had a lot of fun and the feedback that I'm getting is that they had a good time and they admit to having learned a bit more knowledge than what they had before the attended.

We expect to be here for the next 2 days and we hope the weather will stay nice. Colleen and I will plan on going to Kitty Hawk tomorrow to re-visit the Wright Brothers Memorial and museum.

Mickie and Dick Dodge are here in the Tour and I expect that I will speak to Dick before the event concludes.

If you have never been out here you have got to come and see what happens out on Cape Hatteras. There are lots of small shops and there are a few nice restaurants. The larger towns will have more in the way of stores and services however the smaller towns have nice boutiques that sell things from fragrances, sea shell art and beads to hammocks. Down in Hatteras the light house is open to visitors and its a must see including the keepers homes.

Make plans to come to Hatteras at least once. I'm sure that you will find yourself coming back here at least one more time. I believe I've lost count but I think we've been here 5 times.
