Louisiana State WIT Rally

[Ding-a-ling]

This past Thursday, after we said our farewells to our fellow travelers on the WIT Great River Road caravan, four of us couples drove 80 miles west to the town of Rayne, LA for the LA State WIT Rally.

The Chamber of Commerce is being very hospitable in providing us with great sunshine and moderate temperatures. It's nice to be here in the Frog Capital of Louisiana - they are treating us to some great food, games and friendship.

Funny, but we find that the more of these we attend the more familiar faces we see. For example - our WIT GM Doug Formanek and wife Pat, WIT Eastern Area reps Dick and Miki Dodge, another couple from the Keystone Winnies heading to FL, fellow travelers from past caravans and lots of folks (including the Florida Rowdy Bunch )
from other WIT state rallies we have attended.

Can't wait for tomorrow night. Andy, husband of State WIT prez Jeanie B. is cookin' up some of his famous jambalaya. Ummmmm Um
