No Factory Techs at FL WIT Rally

It is my understanding WIT has told the FL WinnieGators Winnebago will not be sending technicians from the factory to their state rally in March.
A sign of the times, I suppose, but understandable.

You are correct. I talked to a couple of Winnebago Reps. at the Tampa RV Show, and they said that it is another part of the cost cutting program.

I think that some messages to Bob Olson should be sent to tell him that cutting Owner Support is not the best way to cut costs. Its one thing to cut service support at FMCA rallys, but the big Winnebago State Rallys deserve their support.

I understand that Winnebago has eliminated some projects such as this to control expenses in a very difficult time for their industry. It is well known that they had to lay off/furlough employees, something they certainly regret having to do. In view of the fact that several RV manufacturers have already bit the dust, as a Winnebago owner, I hope they weather this storm so they can continue to provide the best possible support in the future.

I also understand they will send a district service manager to the Florida WIT rally to address service questions.
