We are traveling with six of our club members from Wa. State. (San Juanderers). We are currently in San Antonio. We are on our way to a shuttle launch and hope to catch the Florida rally just prior. Would love to hit the N.C. one also! Will keep it in mind as we get closer.

The seminars consist of routine maintenance and vehicle operation and other pertinent topics of importance that effect all Workhorse owners. The Q&A portion of the seminar usually get the juices flowing! I enjoy speaking to people all over the country.

Mike, we are looking forward to seeing you and Colleen again. Bette and I will be coming up from Florida along with friends from Michigan and Pennsylvania.

It will also be nice to see the San Juanderers from Washington again. They were very gracious hosts by inviting us to join them at their happy hour during their WA State WIT rally last September.

Frank F.

Don't know what sites we'll have, yet.

Frank, It's 59° right now and the sun is shinning and it's quite comfortable outside. I expect that by the end of next month we'll be seeing some very nice temperatures and leisurly walks along the beach will be welcome.

The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk will open in May or June I expect as we've seen aerial photos of portions of the walk appearing to be complete.

You can see my initial article here: Myrtle Beach Will Feature 1 Mile Long Boardwalk. The boardwalk promises to be quite a nice place to spend some quality time.

Here are some live camera views.

I just wanted to let you all know that I am located on site HH20 in support of the North Carolina TarWheels here at the wonderful Ocean Lakes Family Campground.

The last number that I have in regard to attendance is 101 rigs! That's excellent!

Today the sun is shining brightly over the campground under a totally clear sky. The temperature at the Myrtle Beach Airport was 48° as of this post.

Tomorrow promises much the same however the temperatures will be rising into the 70s. I expect that this will be a wonderful rally.

It is expected that both the Dodges and the Formaneks will be here in attendance.

It didn't take long at all but one lady came by in her vehicle and recognized me to be the Workhorse Ambassador, of course the BIG stickers on the side of the coach and the WCC flag flying on my stern sorta give my position away but she shared with me that she was concerned about her brakes.

I will be presenting a seminar here during the rally and I will be totally covering the Interim Notice, flushing hydraulic brake fluid, mountain driving and select shifting and or TGB operation. We will also cover combined weight ratings and the individual state requirements for auxiliary brakes. Regardless of the individual state requirements, Workhorse has always published that they require an owner to run an auxiliary brake when a towed weight is 1,000 or more pounds.

Stay tuned for more up to date information in regard to the NC State WIT rally!

For those folks wanting to check out our new Boardwalk. Make your way out to the 14th Avenue N Pier, find a parking space and you can walk South on the boardwalk for approximately 1/4 of a mile! The official opening is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend. There is a nice restaurant on the 14th Avenue Pier if you get hungry. I understand their hamburgers are excellent!
