We are going to the Rally at San Antonio in April and wondered if any of you were going or have been there. Thanks

I really think you will enjoy the rally - we attended in 2007. San Antonio is a nice area. The only other time I was in San Antonio was in Feb. 1960 when my Uncle Sam sent me there for USAF Basic Training.

There is much to see in the area. One of the most talked-about features of the rally has been the bus driver they have been able to request, Leroy. An entertainer, storyteller, knows everybody in town.

You'll have dinner one evening outside a restaurant along the River Walk watching the illuminated boats, see the Alamo (of course), museums, bleacher seating for the big parade, etc, etc.

Enjoy!

The Rally starts April 19 and ends April 27. We like to go 2 or 3 days early. Some may come before that. Jim

Who do you contact and where is it held. I looked on the Winnebago site, but they didn't list it.

We just go to Winnebago Industries click on Wit Club on the left side will be caravans and rally. The number to call is 800-643-4892. I don't know if they are full or not, but if not the more people the more fun.
Jim

We had such a great time at that rally. Leroy was a wonder - we learned so much from him. Lots to see around the area. You also can go for some great BBQ in the area.
