Cool What the WIT letters stand for

Why all the confusion about what WIT means? Many times I have seen it stated as Winnebago International Travelers and Winnebago Itasca Travelers, but I just saw their bylaws and it is actually Winnebago Industries Travelers.

I think they used "International" only briefly because of the Australia production facility.

Then, since the "Itasca" brand is being phased away it makes sense to simply label it Winnebago Industries Travelers which covers it all.

cheers,
Joopy

May have to join it since the bought all of Country Coach! Just depends on how they bring the name back and how well they support it. Taking a normal Winnie and relabeling it won't do it for most of us.

In May 2016 they amended the bylaws changing the name back to Winnebago International Travelers. Sorry Itasca people.

Agreed! I'm not convinced that we will see another real CC again. That said, I'm glad they will still remain active in service and parts. At least for the next 10 years I hope.
