Mark you can contact the Mass WIT President and see when / where their next campout is and see if you enjoy the social aspect of belonging to the club. That is why I joined. Have met lots of new people and from all over when we go to the various rallies; FL Sate Rally, GNR, etc.

There are two great rallies near you ...

New York
.... and ...
Washington DC

We have attended both ... they are great ...

There are also some great caravans in your area ... but they are all longer than 3 weeks I think ...

Thats great to hear about but there is no info on who to contact about wit around here for locale info or if there is even a wit unit around here? so that one would be able to check it out and see if it is going to work for us.
I know if you send the app into winne for the national club they send you info on trips that are going to go on but I would really like to talk with someone in mass that is part of a locale unit not just the large wit club you would think that the smaller groups would want to get there name out there to let others know about them what happens to the owners that purchase a used winne none of them can get info on locale club events or even meet loacles.

Thanks for your time to reply to the post

Mark

Mark,
When you purchased your Winnie product, if new, the dealer was to pay for your first year's membership. Also, you should have gotten a listing of the benefits of being a member.

If you are in doubt if you want to join your local area club isuggest you attend one of the local rallys near you. Most rallys are on the weekend and are tailored for both working and retired people alike.

When we bought our Itasca Spirit in May, the dealer gave us no information at all about WIT. How do I go about getting this and especially free membership for a year if we are entitled to it.

Send a message via Yahoo to vicsryd
Free membership for a year is something the dealer pays for and not all of them do it automatically. Sadly, in some cases you have to know in advance to ask for it.

Although I haven't read all the posts on this subject I get the impression that the magazine is being ignored. Look at "Who's Inviting" and the pages where local chapters tell of their recent outings to get an idea of the type group you might be interested in. As a chapter member I know for sure that my rig will be out of the drive way for a least one weekend a month.
