In all likelihood your dealer has already enrolled you in the WIT club. It'll take a few weeks for all the information to arrive in the mail. We've purchased 2 Winnebago products new over the years. We didn't know it but the first dealer enrolled us in the WIT club and paid the first years dues. The second dealer asked if we were members, and when we said yes they paid the dues for the next year.
When we bought our 2001 Adventurer we didn't know anything about WIT or even care. We didn't renew our membership for several years because like you we didn't see any benefits that we were interested in.
Fast forward to 2006. We wanted to go to Alaska in 2007 and started making plans. We found that the WIT club offered 2 caravans during the summer months and decided to check it out. As it turns our once you're a WIT member you're always a member. If you decide to not participate for a year or several years you just don't pay the annual dues. If and when you decide participate again you can reactivate your membership by paying that years annual dues.
Since then we've gone on 4 caravans (Alaska, Newfoundland/Nova Scotia, The Great River Road, and The Grand Circle). We've also gone to the Grand National Rally in Forest City IA several times, and a couple other rallies.
Ask your selling dealer if they enrolled you in the WIT club. I would be willing to bet they did. It just takes a little time for all the information to get back to you.
