WIT club -- no info sent to me?

I bought a new Tour 9.1.14 and only received 1 piece of information from Winnebago and that was a satisfaction survey. No information from WIT. Why should I join?

Also received no welcome from Winnebago.

Takes a little while, you will get something. It took several months and I received both snail mail and emails.

In all likelihood your dealer has already enrolled you in the WIT club. It'll take a few weeks for all the information to arrive in the mail. We've purchased 2 Winnebago products new over the years. We didn't know it but the first dealer enrolled us in the WIT club and paid the first years dues. The second dealer asked if we were members, and when we said yes they paid the dues for the next year.

When we bought our 2001 Adventurer we didn't know anything about WIT or even care. We didn't renew our membership for several years because like you we didn't see any benefits that we were interested in.

Fast forward to 2006. We wanted to go to Alaska in 2007 and started making plans. We found that the WIT club offered 2 caravans during the summer months and decided to check it out. As it turns our once you're a WIT member you're always a member. If you decide to not participate for a year or several years you just don't pay the annual dues. If and when you decide participate again you can reactivate your membership by paying that years annual dues.

Since then we've gone on 4 caravans (Alaska, Newfoundland/Nova Scotia, The Great River Road, and The Grand Circle). We've also gone to the Grand National Rally in Forest City IA several times, and a couple other rallies.

Ask your selling dealer if they enrolled you in the WIT club. I would be willing to bet they did. It just takes a little time for all the information to get back to you.

Winnebago sends the contact info to new purchasers to the WIT Club nearest the customer. The club secretary or president then contacts the customer by mail or even phone call. Some times the clubs don't follow through.

If you do not want to wait go online and join there. We did. It's really a great club. We attended the Grand National Rally at Forest City last Summer and it was a blast.

I purchased a new Ellipse the end of April and paid the WIT dues to join about 3 weeks ago. I have heard nothing by mail, email or phone...crickets.

I don't think our dealer paid for our dues but we joined and wanted to go to the Grand National Rally the 21st of July. We called WIT and the lady was most gracious and helpful. The WIT newsletter is online and pretty comprehensive. Check it out!

We bought ours the end of March and we just received our WIT package last week. We did receive a letter from one of the WIT state clubs. We received one of the WIT magazines after a few weeks, it had our WIT number on the mailing label. Safe travels.

WIT Club also offers RV Insurance and road side assistance (through vendors). You can also save on tires as they offer the Michelin program now, same as FMCA.

WIT Grand National Rally

We are here in Forest City, Iowa, at the Grand National Rally. I've been amazed at how helpful everyone has been--great attitudes everywhere. We have lots to learn and this is a great opportunity both from the information shared at seminars and talking to other MH owners. It's been fun, too. Kudos to Winnebago for a great event.
