Are you allowed to display WIT License plate if you are no longer a member?
I have a neighbor who displays his plate yet his name doesn't appear in the directory nor does the number.

When we bought our coach like everyone else it came with a 1 year membership to WIT. When the time was up we hadn't had been involved in any WIT activities so we let it lapse. A couple years later we decided to go to the GNR so we decided to rejoin.
To our surprise we had been listed as inactive members and were allowed to keep our original number. It seems you don't ever become a non-member, you're either active or inactive.

A member is assigned a WIT number forever. That means that if/when you rejoin you will use the same number.

Thanks for the information, didn't know that. Is there a listing for inactive members in the WIT directory as I have never seen it.

I am a little late reading your post so this may be old info. There is no old members listed in the directory only current ones, you may however opt out of having your info published in the book.

Don
