CaptKurt,

Welcome to iRV2 and the Winnebago family!

If you attend any type of WIT rally or caravan it is recommended your WIT number be displayed on the front of the MH. I see you're from New Joisey, so you already have a plate on the front - maybe you can hang the WIT plate from the bottom of the state plate. Some folks mount the WIT plate on the rear ladder and use numbers on some type of backing to display in the windshield.

Hope you enjoy that 35A, it's a popular model.

I bought insulated pipe clamps at Lowes (metal clamps with rubber grommet inside), and used them (with new holes drilled through the plate) to mount the plate on the rear ladder against the bottom of a step so there is still plenty of room for my foot on the step below so the ladder can still be easily used.

I like to fiddle with gadgets, a condition of too much time on my hands, so I built a bracket that holds both plates on front. Mostly (is that a word) I have seen members line up the holes in the plates and bolt them into the holes provided. The rear plate is on the ladder.

I just stick it in the front windshield when I get to a WIT rally.

On our 2007 35A, I simply mounted the WIT plate above the front license plate, same holes as the license. Mine is the same color as CaptKurt and we are full timing in it and lovin' it!
