Hello! Im a talker not Typer so please pardon the punctuation ��
I just recently purchased this DS for a song but with some known issues that I'm trying to work through... first the windshield. The gasket was ripped when I bought it so I gorilla taped the windshield to get it home. Couldn't find anyone in the southern Indiana area to fix except for Merideth and Sons in Etown KY...): so a $900 deposit of $1800 and 3 weeks later I delivered it to them and 3 days later they say come get it, we can't finish it because the glass doesn't fit properly. Wants to pop outta new gasket at corners, but we're gonna keep your $900 deposit?!?!? So I pick it up but had to spend 3 hours cleaning off the silicone spray they used so the gorilla tape will stick enough to get me home! After getting it home my dad and brother and I got the glass back in the gasket but it does bulge at the corners.
I'm thinking of trying to x-brace the basement and then caulk the glass to the gasket hoping that will help. Any thoughts?
Ps. Newmar is out on appointments til late November currently but they woulda only charged $1249... ):

Looks like coach is out if square. Measure across bottom to opposite top of glass. Measure both ways . measurment should be equal or very close for glass to fit properly. Email me to talk about my experience
Out of square can be caused by sharp turn at speed or stepping on brake to hard in turn or going up an uneven driveway. Russsilber@yahoo.com

Welcome to the Forum! Sorry for the fix issue. We had one too and then found Duncan Systems out of Elkhart, Indiana and they were able to fix it for us at a fair price. They have hook ups for you to stay after they fix it so it has time to settle and seal correctly.

If you can't find anyone else, I would check them out. They were more then fair to us.
