Our bedroom slide sometimes will work and sometimes will not. What I have found is the ignition switch wire at the control box has some low voltage in it when it doesn't work. This is the wire that will not let the slide work when the engine is running. (FYI the ignition key is off when this happens) I can remove the wire from the control box and it works just fine. When I turn the key on it has full 12V in the wire. when the key is off it just barley lights up the test light. Any suggestions where I could look and what is causing the low voltage to sometimes be in the wire?
Thanks for any help P.S. I replaced the control box and it didn't fix the problem.

Hi Don M.
Consider, with the ignition off and the low voltage just lighting the test light, remove one 12 VDC fuse at a time until the test light goes out. This would be the offending circuit. If you find the only offending circuit is the one powering the control board, then things become a bit more complicated. Let us know how pulling the fuses works out.

That lead is # 9 on control box. Someone else had this problem will find it and post here.
Give this thread a read should help you. Most wires have stampings on them that indicate where they run to, stamped every few feet.
The wire could have a poor splice or short to high resistance ground maybe tough to find.
