OK folks....

I helped a buddy of mine negotiate the purchase of a 2005 MADP yesterday,we found a sweet coach with only 7K miles on it and in unbelieveable shape....
Coach had come to the dealer on Friday on consignment and it didn't stay there long...
A true case of being in the right place at the right time....

It has the Pioneer Nav system and that's where his rear cam is displayed, but it does not have the side view cameras....

My buddy is looking to install the side view cams....I know we can get some sort of solution with rvcam.com, but I'm wondering what the rest of the "Newmar crowd's" experiences have been with this subject...

No one that I know of has installed a side cam on Newmar coach, it shouldn't be any harder than what John did on his Journey. I have thought of doing it but my speed is slowing down if hes in a hurry and its a GOOD idea, John's install maybe quicker. Getting wires thru coach should not pose a problem with your help. Someone with a 06 may help you by tracing wireing on his side cam or may have instruction papers. "007"

UPDATE: My buddy Jeff received a call from Howard RV this morning, seems that since the "agree to sell" and the "agree to buy" happened so fast, the seller had not signed the consignment agreement...

Good for the seller and bad for the dealer (and buyer) as the SELLER CHANGED HIS MIND and reneged on the deal....

Cost the dealer a commission and my buddy Jeff a coach....

Bummer!!

It's a safe bet there's one MADP owning home improvement contractor I won't be recommending as I'd hate to take the chance he runs his business like he keeps his word!!
