BMW is moving to non-dvd driven navigation. Hello.....some of us Newmar owners have had this since '07. LINK

For those equipped with the Pioneer Z1 or Z2 unit.
Newmar....It just doesn't get any better.

Peter

Well yes, if you are only buying an '09 BMW, you can't expect what was available in '07 in an Essex. Both Bob.G. and I cashed in on this boat. It was to be standard on all Essex coaches for '07, then I guess they tried to save it for future years. Bob's LADB had, I believe, a Z2. The hard drive approach is far superior than that of a flimsy DVD.

Only because I paid for it and had it installed.... When I tried to get a Z1, Pioneer had already started coming out with the Z2.
Thus, I ended up footing the extra cash for the Z2.

The bean counters at Newmar actually backed off the Z1 and went with the D2, given the added cost of the Z1.
Peter and I were fortunate in that regard.

BMW is finally going to get what I got as a factory option on my motorcycle.
Pretty sad.

Hi Bob! Buy it! The Mercedes GL is a Great Car!! We purchased a Black one when they first came out. Drove great. We used for a year and a half and put 25000 miles on it. We did not get hurt on value when we sold it. If you are not going to use the 3rd row of seats save $1300. and don't get the 3rd row AC option. Great, Great car. Paul
