I think production made it up as they went along. According to the engineering drawing my fuse block was mounted in the rear bedroom closet. Here is a picture of mine in a kitchen cabinet

Okay, I'm confused. "RV Ron" said he had a cover and then posted a photo. There is no cover in the photo.

The only difference I see is that "lakebuster" is showing the 12 volt termination block with fuses. In "Rv Ron's" you're seeing the same termination block and under it, the big black box, is the multiplex lighting controller. What am I missing.....I haven't been drinking.....honest.

Don,
You are correct. I read lakebuster's original post, remembered there was a metal cover, assumed it was the cover in question and posted that. I took the pic without really seeing that the box was in fact the multiplex lighting controller.
Thanks for noticing my mistake and correcting it. There is lots of great information on IRV2, but there is some misinformation as well and I don't want to be a contributor of that.
Glad you saw it and corrected it.

Ron, it wasn't a big deal, I just didn't see the difference and was going to be upset if Newmar hadn't given me a cover!

RVRon,

Just read all the posts and what I made will work just fine. This picture you posted is in the half bath as you squeeze in on upper right cabinets? What is mutiplex lighting? My switches are on wall, by passenger seat and by some thing a ma gig DW only uses that is velcro'd to wall left of televator that she removes and controls shades lighting remotely.

Yes, that's where it is located. On the outside wall half, behind the toilet.
As far as multiplex lighting I'm no expert but my understanding is it allows multiple locations to control multiple fixtures. The controls are a double edge sword, in the sense that you no longer have a nice convenient on/off switch where you sit, but you CAN conveniently control lights is one part of the coach from another area. I'm sure I left things out but that's about what I know. This picture is an example. Do you have this on your DS?

Where is this switch located? Just closed slides, but out by coach and could go look. DW is working and she knows the lighting and shade controls. But I need to learn, except where the beer is stored in outside refrigerator!

There are several throughout the coach. That one in particular is by the window by passenger seat. Different functions on every one.
Judging from your previous picture I'm not too sure you have this system. I thought it was standard on all DS's but I could be wrong.

Mine is the same in the half bath. I don't see how a cover is required. That's what the cabinet door is for.

Not from this particular switch! Thread was about 1/2 bath termination block, if you look back you would have noticed.
