Just when I thought I would be picking up my coach, it was discovered that the ultra leather was the wrong color, and the carpet is the wrong color. Still don't have a date!
If production is having problems like these, what do you think is happening with the more technical stuff?

That depends on who actually made error. Was it dealer ordered? Because I had a wrong color everything caused by a dealer years ago.

Hi Paul, and thanks again for the pictures. It would have been a total disaster if we had arrived at the dealer(1000 miles from home), and found these problems out.
Whose "fault" it is, is currently under discussion by the dealer and the factory. Thank goodness for email, as I just tuck everything I write in a folder. And, since my working days, I put everything in writing. I told the dealer yesterday, I did not care whose fault it was, I thought waiting close to 6 months for a coach was a bit much, and my past experience has proven that cosmetic problems usually amount to about 5% of a coach's issues: so, I guess I'm in for a corker!

The latest word is; the factory will have the carpet 10 October, which will be after the leather has been done. Add in the drive to the dealer, and the prep by the dealer, and it will be 6 months since I put down a deposit!!

How about asking for the interest you lost while they had your money?

I might try it, but they're giving me the rebate ($8k), so $500 does not quite go to the level of an extra year of warrantee (which I would really like).

So who's fault was the error? Right now I feel you are telling us it is the factory, but you have not stated that. Is it?

I'm not sure who screwed up, what. The ultra leather might have been the dealer, or the factory. The carpet was the factory's fault.

Hi! Bob, when are they thinking it will hit the dealer? Having seen your coach live and in person; it will be worth the wait!! Great color combos. Paul

The dealer said it will be there the first week in November, they want it about a week to prep it, and I may get it after that. I'm planning on picking it up the 10th, unless I hear differently from them.
Thanks, again, Paul for the pictures. Looking at the pictures of yours, I see the similarities in cabinet color; yours looks great.

Hi Bob! No problem. Let us know how this all turns out. I wonder what they are quoting for time period for a ordered unit right now. Paul
