1990n Kountry Aire fifth wheel brakes

I have a 1990 Kountry Aire and I think it needs brakes. I think they are the original brakes actually.
I would say that every 6 out of 10 times I apply the brakes i get an "E" on my brake controller. I know it's not the controller because i've hooked up to other rigs and had no troubles.
Does anyone know what brake shoes were put on the 1990 Kountry Aire? It has the upgraded Mor Ryde suspension if that helps.

Welcome to the Newmar forum & irv2 wojo83.
We do have a 5th wheel group on the forum and this is their thread.
It may take some arousing to get them to answer but I am sure they will respond.
You maybe able to do a search within the thread for information you need, the thread has links and question that have been asked before.
Enjoy the forums.
