Hello new to the forum but have seen a LOT of good info on here. Wife and I purchased our first MH last year and we love it. BUT I am looking for info on the KLAUBER B100 slide motor. Have seen older threads and was wondering if anything new has come about. Looking for gears or rebuild kit or if anyone has an old one I can take off your hands ????

Welcome to iRV2.

I'm not sure of the exact model of slide drive motor (gear reduction slide drive ) I've worked on . It's been three years . Pictures below .
What I found at that time was that the gear package available from Newmar ( only; can't buy direct from the manufacturer) did not include all the gears and the one that was broken , was not in the package.
Last time I was in the Newmar parts site , even that package wasn't available , although the complete assembly still was .
Does your drive look like these photos ?
If not please try to post photo of yours.

After two years of searching for a used drive , due to the largest gear having broken teeth ; the owner had his B-in-L build a new gear .
But then not everyone has a machinist in the family.
I told him as long as they were set up to make one , they should run off a few dozen , but they didn't .
From the number of failures I've seen here in the forums , they could be getting paid for their time .
Part number I got from the Newmar site, at that time, was 85866. You could call for current pricing , but be sure your sitting down when you ask.

Welcome to the Newmar forum and irv2, Lee.
We have a vendor that carries spare parts for slide motors & gears that will give an idea of pricing before ging on line for better pricing, this vendor will treat you well also.
You can use the irv2 Newmar search engine to find information.
As you can see members of this forum have good info also and some of them have MOD & REPAIR links within the links below in my signature.
Enjoy the forum and have safe travels.
