We are pretty sure we are buying a 1994 Newmar Kountry Aire 37wdsk. We will test drive it tomorrow before making our final decision.

The motorhome we previously owned was 32' on a P30 chassis, and we could tow our 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara with it easily. Is there any reason to think that the Newmar couldn't handle towing it? The Vitara weighs about 2500lbs, we haven't had the Newmar weighed yet.

Thanks.

-Joe

Looked for tow limits on brochure provided in other thread I posted but most tow hitch weights were 5000 lb's.
You would be OK with your tow.

Hi ebprod,
Before purchasing check the hitch rating. After purchase and with all your stuff (food, clothes, etc), passengers and liquid tanks full ( gas, propane and fresh water tank) have the coach weighed. Gut feel says 2300 lb toad should not be a problem.

You can go to Resource Center > Brochures Archive | Newmar RV and see the brochure for the coach you are considering. In the brochure, the chassis specs should tell you what the coach had when delivered new.
