When you change batteries remove the negative battery wire first than the positive, when hooking back up connect the positives than the negative wire.
If the negative is hooked up first than positives you will be putting 12v voltage spikes into circuit boards under you dash area, burning them up or shorting out and if you have a slide maybe moving the slide out, also pop fuses.
You have fuse links to house batteries that may show in this 1997
Owners Guide, oldest we have. Battery links on pg. 7-7
You will be needing
this link also. plus a
Brochure.
A
thread on the battery hook up in a 94 coach that maybe of help.
When we get things worked out, if you can and have at least 110 volt power outlet plug shore line in and your BIRD System will keep all your batteries fully charged and the BCO switch ON.
This link maybe of help in future as to how things in Newmars are laid out.
