Thanks

Hi mlr1951,
All the ones I've seen are located on the HWH control board. There are two adjustments. Both are on what looks like the screw. One is the screw and the other is the nut (nut like). Move them very slowly. A little goes a long way.
You didn't ask, but what I do is find a place on the coach floor that is level when the refer is level. Then using a 3' carpenters level, level the coach with the jacks. Now go to the control board and adjust the light control screw/nut until the lights are out on the control panel.

On ours it's located (hung) from the floor directly above the front generator. Pull out the genny and look above its cavity nearer the drivers side.

Thanks

Hi mlr1951,
I'm confused. Please define "pad".

If its the jack control pad inside coach they are either on the dash or to the left of drivers seat on the floor.

I think HWH calls it the "Sensing Unit". Its the device with the springs and screws that you adjust if the coach is not level when it thinks it is.
Thanks

Hi mlr1951,
Then my post #2 is accurate. Now where the board is located is a different story. Others have posted where they think the board is located.

Just finished changing the HWH pump motor on my '01 MADP 4095. Read a post on another board regarding the HWH motor part number and cross referenced to a Western part number. Bought it new on ebay for $125, no tax and free freight, UPS delivery in 3 days due to the weekend. The motor came with a negative terminal, so I made up a #2 black cable with crimped lugs and heat shrink. The Spartan dealer wanted $367 for the motor from HWH and $160 labor, plus tax. They still probably don't know that the missing ground cable is the failure mode...and they would have to provide one.
Anyhow, on to the next problem. Where is the level sensing unit on my coach? Anybody know? I have searched the threads and been looking for two days with no luck so far. When I called Newmar regarding the controller, the guy could not tell me. I ended up finding it up under the dash, held in place with velcro. This is fun.

If your looking for this its located about mid-ship center of your coach.
This thread will explain how to make adjustments.
This thread also has the newer version of how to level adjust posted by Oemy.
On a Workhorse chassis all the white ground wires from solenoids and control panel go to a ground post bolt welded to the frame cross member at the front of coach chassis.
