We have a 2000 Mountain Aire. We would love to have a newer coach with all the latest bells and whistles but just can't afford it so I decided to do a few things to the one we have. The coach is in remarkable condition for it's age and I'm a cabinet builder by trade so figured I could do part of it myself. I've replaced the cabinets and the tv up in the nose of the coach and now have a 42" plasma up there. All the shades including the old windshield curtain have been replaced with MCD shades just like they put in the new ones. The windshield and drivers window are even power ;-). We just finished pulling up all of the old carpet and tile and replacing it with all new 12 x 24 porcelain tile. the only thing left to do is replacing the carpet in the slideout and bedroom which has been ordered but won't be in for a couple weeks. These last 2 things won't show much in the pictures so I've decided to go ahead and post some before and after pics.

I'm not a cabinet maker, nor have I ever played one on TV!
Anyway, I'm in the middle of replacing the front TV with a 32" Samsung LED unit. We looked at the 40" but decided they hang down too far.
Have vinyl tile samples picked out to redo the floor although ours are in good shape the carpet is looking pretty dirty and I can't get it clean now.

Looks great, I like the flip up extension on the kitchen counter. I have a new counter ordered, should be in this week, it will have the extension also! I have the same angled sink, but my drawers are on the end where your extension is. The right corner of the sink is about 2 inches away from the stove. Taking out the double
sink and putting in a bar size sink.

After the tv replacement and new blinds I contacted Newmar for a bid on the new tile & carpet. They said it was a frequently asked question and quoted $14,700. I just about choked. I hired the installation of the new tile but did all the prep work myself (prep took 2 days). I worked my rear off those 2 days but got it all done. I have new carpet on order. After it's all done I will have $3800 in the job. Materials for tile ran $1700, installation was $1000 and the new carpet installed is running $1100.

The upgrades are coming along looking great, sometimes you would think you are in a stick house with the money you can spend.
I always found you can save a ton of money doing it yourself and have some left over for next project.
Its more fun though and you can take it with you.

You did a very nice job, but your talent and experience doesn't help those of us who think we can do something similar, but simply end up asking for help in this forum. Congratulations to you for a coach which should stand up to time!

we also have a 2000 madp 4093 & had some custom interior work done. we replaced the floors with wood instead of tile & put the 40" led tv on the patio side at the liv room window. i love what you have done with yours. the 2000 madp are solid coaches and have the classic lines of the new ones. do what you can do & leave the rest to the pros.

You'll have to out some pictures up for me to see. I love looking at stuff like that. I just finished replacing all the bathroom hardware with chrome and taking all the light fixtures out and painting them with a weathered iron. Also replaced all the cabinet handles with weathered iron. Just wanted to get rid if the bright brass.
