2001 Mountainaire 4095 towing capacity

We are looking at a nice MADP4095 350hp on the Spartan chassis. It looks like it's rated only to tow 5,000 pounds. Seems like that chassis/engine combination should handle more than 5k. A Similarly equipped Monaco Dynasty on a 40' Roadmaster is rated at 10,000. Is it just a matter of the factory hitch only being a 5k hitch?

Also what size tires does the MountainAire come equipped with? The brochures don't say. 275/70?

Hi Fredward,
Yep, the receiver is rated at 5K. That is in line with the GVWR and the GCWR. Don't know about the tire size.
