Jbsmr, if its necessary to get slides in or out and you have a 120v outlet avalible plug in your shore power line and slides will move.
Here is a slide spec for Newmars found in the QT's 1 & 2 link.

Here is info on your 12v battery system.

They put all new house battery's and the slide still won't move. I wonder if it could be something simple that they just don't know. Her son said that the jacks don't work as well.

Your jacks will work off the chassis batteries.
One thing common is the grounds to the chassis frame, the house battery ground to frame, the jack solenoids have white ground wires off them to a chassis ground, there is a 40 amp fuse feeding the hydraulic pump for jacks that may have come corroded from road salts plus all the battery grounds could have the same condition of corrosion from salts and they all have to be cleaned up and protected with a di-electric grease or battery terminal paint after cleaning.
The reservoir for jacks needs to be filled with transmission fluid two between the two lines on the bell vent shaft with all jacks retracted.
How long has this coach been setting and last use??

I have a 2000 Dutch Star 4093 and my slides will not move in or out if the key is on (engine running or not). It must be on battery, generator or shore power with key off.

I would say, after reading your reply's to your thread that the whole Coach needs gone over and everything checked out, battery load testing would be the first place to start and get your 12 VDC system operating and up to proper voltage. Then check all the other systems out good.

Hi Jbmsr,
A simple check is to see if the chassis and coach master on/off switches have been turned off. The chassis master switch might be located in the engine compartment. The coach master switch is usually located on the control panel for all other coach functions. The switch may be labeled use/store.
