Hi,

I was going over the rig the other day and I noticed that my passenger side turn signal bulb was "gone". I opened the hood and saw that the bulb wire was hanging down and the socket was missing.

The reflective housing is still 100% ok so I just need to replace the socket assembly.

So, here come my questions.

1.) Is the Bulb socket a standard auto part or is it a Newmar OEM exclusive? If it is a standard socket (say available @ Murray's etc.) anybody got a part number?

2.) Either way, is there still a Newmar Parts dept.?

3.) Anybody have a name that I should ask for @ Newmar "Parts"?

And, as always, Thanks in advance

Dave

Yes Newmar parts is still in operation. Did you look at the right hand lamp socket and go to auto parts to match up. Haven't checked mine but you should be able to match it for left hand light or just replace what ever will mount for lamp.
Jeanne can probally match it up for you but maybe cheaper at auto parts store.

Thanks 007 I'll do some sleuthing and if I get a "generic" socket that fits, I'll post the info.

Also, thanks for the contact info . I have not had to call Newmar except for a technical problem when I first got the rig back in 2006.
So I don't know anybody there (as Martha Stewart would say, "that's a good thing").

So far, the rig has been great! without any major problems.

Dave
