2004 Kountry Star slide

I did the no no. Tried to open the living room slide and the pantry door was open. Now the slide will go in and out but it is sitting crooked. The front lacks about eight inches closing. Likewise the back doesn't open all the way.

Dig, welcome to the Newmar forum and irv2.
If you go to QT # 1 & 2 and scroll down to the slideout information section you will find the info needed to fix your problem in the Trouble section of the old slide spec link.
Before you do anything go outside and look under the slide and see if you have any broken stop rods or brackets attached to the rod stops on slide outside edge or the one under the frame of coach that rod guides through.
You may need to only release the torque bushings and with help push the slide in and re-tighten the bushings.
You will find more info for your coach in all the Quick Tips links at the top of this forum, let us know how you make out with the problem.

Hi Dlg,
Welcome to iRV2 and the Newmar Owners forum. To expand a bit on what 007 posted. You will need a 1 1/2" crows foot, a socket wrench and a cheater bar to go onto the wrench. This is easier to do with the slide out. Loosen the torque bushing(s). With help move the slide as needed. Retighten the bushing. Remember the turns to loosen. Do the same number of turns to tighten. Do not over tighten. It may take more than one try.
