This is as I understand, but the normal fluid installed by Workhorse was Dexron, however, I remember that single page saying Transynd, and the color is as Transynd after usage, so perhaps Newmar specified Transynd, that's what I am trying to ascertain, I am hoping someone else with a Workhorse gas chassis, with a mid 04 to mid 05 build date will have some information. ( I compared the color with the Dexron in my 05 chevy pickup, and the difference is very notable, based on informaton on Transynd in the Allison forum, it gets a lighter golden color to it, and that's what I have, the pickup with Dexron, is deep red.)
If I have Transynd, I will have an oil analysis ran, and then either change it, or just change the filter, based on the oil analysis. If I get convinced I have the Dexron, I will change it, but then have another change coming up in 2 yrs,
