We just purchased a "new to us" 2005 KSDP. The front TV works fine however, on rough roads the majority of the "rattles" seem to be coming from the TV bouncing in the enclosure. I would like to see if I can somehow tighten things and / or eventually replace the current TV with a lighter LCD HDTV. I removed 4 screws on the outer sides of the overhead cabinet but the TV still seems unmovable. How do you remove this TV?

Thanks,

Gary

Your TV maybe mounted on steel plate screwed to bottom of TV. This plate is screwed into floor of TV box which have to be removed.
You can get the plate off TV after removing it and turning upside down you will see three screw heads.
The older TV's were jammed with foam strips to keep the rattles down within box.
Within the Quick Tips & Mods link are about 4 LCD installs by members just scroll down the list to find them.
Welcome to the Newmar forum & irv2.
