2006 Essex

Seriously looking at a 2006 Essex 4508 Sommerset. Do any of you know of common problems with this model? What should I be aware of. Thinking of flying 3000+ miles to personally check it out.

Definitely a nice coach. Just keep in mind comfort drive came out on the Essex in '07. NADA Guides show $215K low retail to $250K average for 06 and for an 07 they show $250K low to $300K average retail.

I have had no major problems. It just turned 49,000 miles on way home from Florida Keys.

Thanks to all who responded. I am putting a deposit on this coach contingent upon inspection. Still have concerns because the seller is, I believe, a broker (Auto Boss, Inc. RV and Marine Sales) so maintenance records are non existent. Please see my plea for help in a new thread.

Let us know how you make out. I emailed them many times on that unit and never got a response. If it checked out good I was going to buy it. You beat me to it so good luck love to know how it is when you get there.

Ok good luck. If it's everything it's supposed to be its a good deal. Hope it all works out for you. It's one of the nicest ones I've seen.
