Well, the order and deposit were made today. We should find out by Thursday the 'off-line date' . The factory rep said late October or early November. The wait is on. We look forward to many years of conversing with our fellow Newmar owners here on IRV2.com.

pstroke,
posted here about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Waiting on a 4304 due mid/late October. This forum is great.
rebelsbeach, lug_nut and 007 are very helpful and just about seen it all.
They haven't provided much comfort in the waiting though. I am sick of looking at the brochure and website. I'll consider you my support group to get through the next few weeks.

Hey Javajelly, I'll tell you how I've got through while waiting. I download every manual that I can think of that is on the coach, like, in your case the Allison 3000MH transmission, Cummins ISL, Spartan Mountain Master GT, and any other items that you can identify that will be on your coach like the inverter, generator, radio, etc.
Okay.... it does not really make the wait easier, in fact it raises the excitement. It does however help you learn quicker when you get it.

pstroke,I've made some TERRIFIC friends here on iRV2, first in the Winnebago forum and then in the Newmar forum.
I encourage you to "surf" around the web site and get yourself involved in the regional camping areas that are near to your place of residence...
Some of the BEST times I've had RV'ing have been "little get togethers" that someone planned over a weekend, with other iRV2'ers.
Saw a campfire grille a weekend or so ago, and I'd never seen that contraption...It's a pole in the ground that holds a round grill grate that you can swivel or adjust up and down....NICE!!
I've also become the now famous "donut forgetter", but you'll have to attend a campout with me to hear that one... (yeah right....someone will spill the beans.)

You really don't need to attend a campout to experience the "donut forgetter"- just tell your DW you are getting donuts for everyone for breakfast next weekend, ....... and then don't.

Java, Rebel and Lug- I appreciate all the good words. Although this is my first Newmar I do have some experience with a diesel pusher, about three years and 30K miles.
I called the factory on Friday and they gave me an "off-line" date of 10/19 and dealer delivery around 11/3 or 11/4. Just in time for the fall race at TMS and opening weekend of deer hunting.
The excitement will continue to grow and I will keep everyone posted on the progress.
