2007 DSDP price??????
If you were to buy 2007 DSDP model 4304, one is 24K miles @ $169K,(exterior color I like) dealer sale with regular flooring and furnace heating and the other one (same model marble flooring/hydronic heating) is 45K miles @ $152K private sale. My question is, which one is a better deal. Pls reply with honesty. Tnx.

Mileage isn't even a consideration with DP valuation by the NADA so the difference between the two units you are looking at is insignificant. Assuming you know that both units were well maintained. The private seller is more likely to have service records than will the dealer.
IMHO since both floorplans are the same then go with the hydronic heating and the lower price assuming the condition is the same (it rarely is). Hydronic heating costs a bit more to maintain but provides more uniform heat and runs off your large diesel tank, not your propane.

Either way do a good pre-purchase inspection. Findings things wrong before you purchase is paramount.
Buying from a dealer, they will normally fix the things you find wrong prior to purchase.
In a private sale, finding things during a private sale gives you a good bargaining tool on the price

Mileage is not important at those numbers. The hydronic heating is wonderful and if the features are the same that would be my choice. But it's the floorplan that will ultimately decide which to get.

If it has hydronic heat it probably has most of the options on it. Download the 07 DSDP brochure from Newmar archives and figure out what options are on each... Most people order very little options or most of them...
Once you owned a coach with Hydro-Hot you will never want one without. Hydro-hot will give you a lot of heat quick and unlimited hot water (up to your tank size) with very little electricity.
As stated above, dealer will fix problems found at delivery, private may not, so check coach carefully with an experienced RV owner or a professional.

Hi MARANATHA,
The brochure for the 2007 DSDP is at:
https://comnet2.newmarcorp.com/insta.../2007dsdpb.pdf
Assuming all things being equal, pick the coach the wife likes. The "deal" will be long forgotten. However, the wife is another story.

Regardless of which you choose be sure to have a reputable inspection team take a look at it. MAKE SURE they look at everything especially the power plant. Just because it may be a private purchase and they have records doesn't mean that the work was done. There was a post on the forum just yesterday regarding a private purchase and all the maintenance records. Well when the owner got it home and started doing his own maintenance he saw it was clear that maybe the original owner took it in to have the service done but what he paid for was the service center doing absolutely nothing. It was an interesting post. Good luck and hope all works out for you.

We have this in our 2008 DSDP and love it. The Hydronic heating will also include instant hot water and be fueled by diesel / electric. Look at the filters to see if they are dated. Or have the seller (either one) include a complete fluid / filter change on everything - front to rear - $1500. Also look at the tire dates.
Good Luck.
