Hello!

I'm at a very close point of purchasing a 2007 MADP 4528, custom ordered, beautiful coach - 11,000 miles. I've done a lot of researching, but haven't noticed a number of differences between 2007 and 2008. Were there any show-stopping issues or things to look out for in 2007?

What would you consider a reasonable price? We're in the 260's at the moment, which I believe to be relatively fair.

Thank you guys in advance - much appreciated!!

Lindy,
There are two things that make the 2008 significantly different imho. The paint was upgraded to the Essex level being more wet sanding and clear coat. The bus type or frame less windows were also done for 2008. If you look at the two side by side you will see the difference. One other thing was the change to the Oasis heat. This was also an upgrade in my estimation. There were also some options available like corian shower.
Thanks, Daryl

I have a 2007 mnt aire I purchased in Feb. 07, It has been an excellent coach. They did go to the frameless windows in 08, as far as th aqua-hot, I have had no problems with it. As far as the paint it is the same in 07, 08, & 09. I have put 34000 miles on the coach with out onlly a few minor problems. corian shower walls was an option on 07, 08, & 09.

Hi LindyT,
Go to RV 2007 MOUNTAIN AIRE Motor Homes prices, specs and options at NADAguides.com and answer the questions presented to you. This is the NADA web site and will show you the retail value of the coach, based on what the options it contains.

After speaking with Newmar, I think the only thing I would prefer in the 08 over the 07 is the frameless windows - those are a nice touch indeed.

The paint is the same. Actually, this coach was painted with a custom Essex theme and looks beautiful. It has the corian and I'm not all that concerned with Oasis vs Hydro Hot -- the latter has been a stable unit in Newells and Newmars alike.

I'm very impressed with Newmar. I'm not even an owner yet and they sent me an 07 brochure and the build order on the unit in a matter of hours. I can't get that level of service from Monaco, even as a long-time owner.

Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated.

After giving it careful thought, I decided to go with the 07, though I'd love those frameless windows! One of the big factors was it had the pre-EPA molested engines. Beautiful coach - we pick it up next week!
