2007 MADP & EXDP Spartan Chassis

I have been chasing a headlight problem and looking for fuses and relays. The diagram I had for the front fuse panel did not match up with the one in my MADP. I called Spartan today and once again they were very helpful. They sent me the correct diagram for the fuse panel, and the schematic drawings for the whole headlight wiring assembly. I thought I would post these in case somebody else has the same problem.

Turns out to be a 20A BUSS circuit breaker fuse and it is large enough that it covers up the label to know it was for the headlights. The 12V Low Voltage information in my RV said it was supposed to be a 25A inline fuse and a relay on

.

This has been driving me crazy, not to mention expensive. Now that I have them working again, I only have to deal with one burnt bulb. 12V 55W H7.

I am also attaching the Smart Wheel Controller guide for the Spartan version since these rigs do not have VIP controllers.

We have a 04 Essex on a Spartan K2 chassis and when we had no headlights it was the black box that control cruise control, headlights and wipers. Location is in outside electric cabinet on the left side looking in. Cost was close to 500$. The black box is what control the smart steering wheel controls.

Yes, mine was buzzing when the headlights were on. Unfortunately we bought a new one too and that was not our problem. It was a hidden $2 breaker fuse that my drawings did not show. So now I have an extra Smart Wheel controller.

and, I have the correct fuse panel diagram. They said it was good for both Mountain Air and Essex of that vintage.

Your welcome Steve. It helps when you have the right one. I never would have found that fuse since it had a breaker fuse and was covering the label. I bet I looked at that panel for an hour total.
