Good Day All, We are the proud owners of a 2007 MA as of earlie this year. Couple of questions I would like answered if possible.

1. In the washroom area there is a switch marked "Heat Pads" with a light that turns on when switched on. Not sure what this does ....... any ideas.

2. On the exterior there are two large patio lights one either side of coach. Neither comes on .......... the other outside light above the door comes on when the Patio Light switch is activated. Are they all suposed to come on with the Patio Light switch or am I missing something.

Thanks,

Phil

I believe you may have the heated tank option. The switch you describe may be to active the heating pads beneath the tank(s). Nice coach!

Thanks Peter & Gary.......... On our previous coach (Damon Tuscanny) Damon supplied a large owners manual which gave all this type of information. With our MA we did get the standard breif case full of documentation but not that useful owners manuel. ............. But when there is guys like you around who needs a manuel ...... only kidding.
Big Thanks

Phil

I have 2007 Dutchstar and I believe that switch in bathroom is heat for engine but it must be plugged in at engine (don't need in Fl) Patio lights ouestion.... those lightsare security lights and turned on at cntrol panel above passenger seat (I think)

Phil,

If your '07 is like my '05, then the switch in the bathroom is for the tank heat pads used when you are in cold weather. For a long time, we weren't sure ours were working, since they pull so little power that it didn't register anywhere!

Thankfully, we avoid cold weather, so we've never actually needed them, but maybe you will.

Enjoy your new coach! And welcome to the NEWMAR "family".

Again Thanks to All .......... The patio lights are switched on and off at the panel above drivers head ......... marked "Security Lights" and the Heat Pad in the shower area is for the heating in the storage / water tank areas.

Great response ......Thanks
