My four existing Interstate 6 volt house batteries need replacement. Costco has started selling Interstate at an attractive price. I do little to no dry camping. A few questions:
1. Should I get a "true" deep cycle or a hybred starting/deep cycle.
2.Has anyone had experience with these Costco Interstates.
3. Any recommendations on the specific battery model to purchase.

The hybrid batteries are a compromise and not really good for either use. The U-2200's like we have are far better for single use, that's whey the factory uses two different types. One set for starting and another for house use.
Deep cycle batteries will last many more discharge/charge cycles than the hybrids.
Our Interstate U-2200's are now 9½ years old (as are the starting ones), I've taken the U-2200's down to 10.5 volts quite often and they still work well enough for us.
When we replace the batteries we'll use the same types.

If the factories could save a few bucks by using cheaper batteries I'm sure they would but Newmar doesn't, so I won't either.
