If you get bored any chance of getting more interior pics of the King Aire? It looks like a rear bath? Thanks, Paul
I'm not bored, but tired of walking.

There are now 18 pictures in the King Aire folder.

YW, Paul.

Now, that is my favorite!

Dirk, I heard a rumor yesterday here in Wilmington that the King Aire interior styling is the result of Newmar's having hired a new designer/decorator....Can you ask Ken Williamson or John Sammut?

I posted earlier about the Newmar brass being all smiles.

Today they are grinnin' from ear to ear.

The London Aire on display was sold.

The sign states the Delay's bought it.

Say Dirk, if you want to see those smiles turn upside down, ask those Newmar Execs if they will allow you to order a King Aire with either Essex or LADB cabinets,or if they're considering offering another option other than the "laminated" look...
I'd ask Kyle or John.....and DUCK!

My take on this coach is that yes, they will sell some of them, but this coach gets away from the tried and true woodworking craftmanship that Newmar is famous for.

I wonder if we're talking about the same coach.

The KADP here looks like the dark Velvet Cherry wood, and not a laminate look, IIRC.

I've looked at so much, I'll have to go look again.

I will say Bob is nothing if not consistent. Bob commented w/in 30 seconds of seeing the King Aire on the line in Feb. about the name and the cabinets.

I don't dislike the style of cabinets as much as Bob. However, I whole heartedly agree that they and the name are not necessarily consistent w/the Newmar brand as it is right now.

Having said all that, I came from the auto industry. The BMW designer, Chris Bangle, took all kinds of guff for the new design of the 7 series in 2003. I had the pleasure and pain of owning one of the first 5 in the country.

The design was said to be ugly, stupid, total failure etc. The criticism was mostly around the trunk line. Turns out that most vehicles today emulate that design.

I'm not saying that Newmar is leading the design world and taking huge risks, only that every risk deserves some time to play out.

Sorry to digress. I do love the auto industry but, glad I'm doing something else now.

King Aire: Sounds like the brand name for a mattress. I agree with Bob...The name could be a lot better.
