The recliner in our coach leans forward so much it is impossible to recline without someone holding it back. We took it into the dealer while under warranty where they say they turned it around on the mount, and it is no better. Even looking at it from the side without anyone in in ti leans so forward, and if someone sits in it the front goes all way to the floor. Has anyone else had this problem ? It is leather chair in Model 3641 Canyon Star.

We have the same model and year Newmar as you. We haven't had that problem with our recliner so I can't offer any answers for that one, but on our recliner it squeaks while going down the road. Drives me nuts. Does not do it all the time, and it doesn't matter if someone is in the chair or empty. Have you encountered this?

thanks,
Phillip

If washers were placed under bolts forward of the four mounting bolts you maybe able to get the front raised up enough to clear the front of chair off floor.
Tried that for wife who is heavy but did not work to make it easy for her.
It did raise the front panel off floor though.
Some people have placed wedges under springs so chair would not rock while traveling down the road.
May need some dry lube also to get rid of squeaks.

I cut and placed wedges under the springs as 007 mentioned. Did not need the rocker mode since all it did was create a problem with banging into the woodwork behind the rocker. It was easy to see where to place the wedges once the chair was turned over. I think you can do the same to keep it from tilting forward.
