I heard that the 2011 coaches have some more pollution controls put on them that harms mileage. And something about the urea tank, an additive that you have to have on board to inject into the fuel and the coach wont run if the tank is empty.
Never made sense to me how burning more fuel is somehow cleaner. Anyone have any first hand experience with the new controls?

That's not entirely acurate, You can read all about it HERE. The coach will run without Urea, just not very well.

That doesn't make any sense to me either however a 2010 Emissions package with Urea apparently doesn't burn much fuel if any more than the 07 Emission engines. Urea isn't fuel, it's just a catalyst that coverts N(itrogen)Ox(ides) in the exhaust with the resulting stream being mostly warm water vapor.

You can be said that if you run a 2010 emission package in downtown Los Angeles or Manhattan for that matter you would actually be cleaning the air around your vehicle.
