2012 Bay Star 2901

On Friday I am going to look at a 2012 Bay Star 2019. Any suggestions of items I should look for like any specific wear and tear. It has about 9500 miles on it. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. We don't own an RV at the moment.

A 2012 is a pretty new vehicle but still should be checked over. If your not familiar with rv's and their systems, you could always hire an independent inspector to look at it. If you want to give it a try, inspect the body, check the roof (caulked seems and any other damage that may have happened), any unusual wear and tear inside, check the appiances, A/C, generator etc. I think you get the picture. Be sure to start it and take it for a drive as well. Good luck and hope it all works out.

Bring something to check lay on to check the undercarriage. Bring a flashlight. Bring something to check outlets. Don't be afraid to pull some drawers out to look behind cabinetry. Pressurize the water system. The PDI list from 007 is very helpful.

Scrutinize the front windshield. I had mine parked in California in nice weather. Traveled back east to Texas for work. Did not notice a small chip. Turned into a large crack that cannot be repaired.

As others have stated - worth the money to hire someone to inspect it if you like the coach.
