2012 Newmar Ventana 3433 Slide Problem

Has anyone had a problem with the rear passenger side slide on any Newmar Coach? I have had an ongoing issue with my slide not fully extending without pushing it from the inside since the coach was new and Newmar seems to be claiming there is nothing they can do about it. Sounds like a strange response and am wondering if anyone else has had this experience.

My rear slide did the same thing; had to change out motor: $490.00 for motor plus labor charges.

Hi Sofakleez,
The slide stops when the AMP draw exceeds the trip point. This is usually when the slide is against the inner or outer wall of the coach. Each slide has a controller. On the card is a pot that can keep the motor running longer. I forget which way to turn the pot, but please turn it no more than 1/8 of a turn at a time.

The above assumes the slide has no binds and there is no obvious reason for the slide not to extend a bit more.
