2013 Canyon Star Bedroom tv wiring?

Hi Folks
I just discovered an HDMI outlet not labelled in the upper bedroom cabinet to the left of the tv. any idea what its connected to. or what should it be connected to. I tried unplugging the bedroom tv's HDMI from the non dvr satellite receiver and plugging directly into it but got no signal. I was hoping it might be wired to the Main dvr receiver at the front of coach so we could watch some of our recordings from front tv to bedroom tv.
Any ideas welcomed.

Is it long enough to reach a position where one might use a laptop? DVD player?

I understand part of your question but not all. Recently replaced the HDMI connected from my bedroom TV (2017 Canyon Star 3710) to the HDMI outlet in the small upper cabinet left of the TV. A DVD player or Sat receiver can be plugged into this outlet. My cable was about 3' long. The original HDMI cable was cheap and was loose as it connected to the TV. I removed the HDMI plate and my TV now connects directly to my Sat receiver (through the hole where the plate was). I discarded the plate. Hope this makes sense.
