The windshield shade will not go up. After fussing with it for a while it went up and now it is 1/2 way up and will only go down. When I push the rocker switch for down it goes but when I push up it goes up a touch then stops. Also, does anyone know what the little black thing attached to wires with a small button and red light attached to the left end on the shade mechanism is for? Thanks Don

If you do not have any instruction information and if they are MCD I would suggest you google: reprogramming MCD Shades. We experienced the same situation and watched the dealer reprogram. Very simple if you figure out how to do it.

I submitted an email to Newmar and a nice man called me!! The shades in this model are not MCD but are Automotion. He sent me instructions that I printed out and put in my folder for future ref. I think "hold the button until red light blinks then release and the shade will move. Push again when the limit you want is reached.
