2015 Dutch Star drivers side Magna Shade

I have just received the Magna Shade for my 2015 DutchStar. The driver’s window shade appears to have a magnet placed on the moving glass window. When I contacted Magna Shade they weren’t sure if the magnets would be placed on the body of the coach just to the rear of the window. I will check today to see if the fabric is cut big enough for this.
Can any owner who have the Magna Shade for the driver’s window please let me know the magnets positions on their coach. Any pictures would be great. Looking for a help from those who have this product.

Thanks in advance.

The magnets are to the right of the window frame and on the black boarder on the front of the window. The Magna Shade is about 3" wider than the window on my coach set up.

Thank you Golfer Guy. I’m sure my window shade is slightly smaller but this helps. I was not sure if the magnet adhesive would adhere to the window frame. Did you , or the installer, use any additional adhesive?

No help on this. My coach came this way when I bought it. I don't know how the magnets where adhered. There is silicon on each magnet that has been adhered to the coach. Not sure on the glass. Sorry

Mine are on the window, touching the inside edge of the frame. 07 KSDP

My 13 was on the window, my 19 is on the wall beside window

I installed both myself.

Baja Fun,

Below is a photo from the Magne Shade installation on my 2016 Dutch Star. I did the install myself about 2 years ago. No issues to date.

From the instructions I received with the product, there are no magnets on the window frame or the operable window.

Also, here is a link to a YouTube Magne Shade side shade installation video .

When we had them installed at magnashade on our Canyon Star (mid door) I wanted the magnets on the side windows (pass, driver and door) and not on my frame. Problem was magnets on sliding window, however, never really opened that window when parked and of course never drove with the shade on

The magneshade for my 2018 Dutch Star is exactly like his; magnets on the wall, not the electric window. I also installed them myself—very doable.

Per the earlier comment, the adhesive is is a 3M product, not silicone. The manufacturer recommends putting silicone on afterwards to protect the seal.
